Managing your weight can feel complex, personal, and sometimes frustrating. Many people try for years with diet and exercise alone. At PharmaBee, we provide access to clinically supervised weight management injections for eligible adults in the UK.
All treatments are sold by UK-registered independent pharmacists and dispensed by our UK pharmacy. Medication is supplied only where clinically appropriate, following a full medical assessment. These are regulated medicines intended to support weight management in people who meet recognised medical criteria, designed to be used alongside healthy eating and increased physical activity.

Body weight is influenced by more than willpower alone. Diet and activity levels play an important role, but so do hormones, genetics, sleep patterns, stress levels and certain medical conditions. Carrying excess weight is linked to an increased risk of type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, sleep apnoea, joint problems, fatty liver disease, and some cancers.
According to the NHS, obesity is considered a long-term health condition. Like other chronic conditions, it may require ongoing management. For some individuals, changes to diet and exercise do not lead to enough weight loss on their own — in these cases, treatment may be considered as part of a structured, medically supervised plan.
You may be eligible if you:
During your online consultation, our pharmacist will review your height and weight, medical history, current medications, previous weight management efforts, and any safety concerns or conditions that may affect suitability.
Wegovy contains semaglutide and belongs to a group of medicines known as GLP-1 receptor agonists. GLP-1 is a natural hormone that helps regulate appetite. Wegovy is taken as a once-weekly injection. In clinical studies, adults using semaglutide alongside diet and increased physical activity lost on average around 15% of their starting body weight over approximately 68 weeks.
Mounjaro contains tirzepatide and works on two natural appetite-related hormones: GLP-1 and GIP. It is taken as a once-weekly injection. In clinical studies, adults using tirzepatide alongside lifestyle changes lost on average up to around 20% of their body weight at higher doses.
GLP-1 medicines do not directly ‘burn fat’. Instead, they help regulate appetite — many patients report feeling less hungry and more satisfied after smaller meals. This can make it easier to follow a reduced-calorie diet over time. They are licensed for use as an adjunct to a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity.
Both Wegovy and Mounjaro are licensed in the UK by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency. Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, constipation, and stomach discomfort. Less common but more serious risks include pancreatitis, gallbladder problems, severe abdominal pain, and dehydration.
These medicines are generally not suitable if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, planning pregnancy, have a history of pancreatitis, have certain thyroid conditions, or have severe digestive disorders.
If treatment is not suitable for you, we will explain why clearly, refund you fully, and may recommend discussing alternative options with your GP or local NHS services.

Yes. These treatments are licensed to be used alongside a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity. They support appetite control, but long-term success depends on sustainable lifestyle habits.
Duration varies. Many patients remain on treatment long term to help maintain weight reduction, subject to regular clinical review.
Prescription medicines should only be supplied following assessment by a qualified prescriber and dispensed by a regulated pharmacy. PharmaBee is registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and supplies UK-licensed medicines only. Obtaining medicines from unregulated sources can carry serious health risks.
